This is a super healthy and delicious oatmeal cookie recipe with no added sugar!
I love these cookies, they are great as a quick breakfast cookie or just as a snack! Oats are a great source of complex carbohydrates that keep you full and feeling satisfied. Oatmeal also contains a little protein and fiber.
Feel free to add your own spin on this recipe with your favorite fruits or with you favorite protein powder. They are not very sweet like your typical cookie but you won’t feel guilty after eating a couple!
Ingredients:
-2 bananas
-1 cup of oats (add 1/2 cup of extra oats at a time for a thicker consistency)
-1/2 cup of walnut pieces
-1 tsp of lemon juice
-Dash of cinnamon & a pinch of nutmeg
-1 scoop of natural or naturally flavored protein powder (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven at 350˚ Celsius
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and drop by heaping spoonful. Makes about 12 big cookies.
Bake for 15 minutes.
